The president and his team and their resources need to be brought to bear on Texas because it’s not one that we can lose if we’re going to hang on to a Republican majority.

Unfortunately, I think after two government shutdowns that have extended for a long period of time, it’s better for everybody if there’s predictability, certainty, and just to take that issue off the table.

I think we have a bunch of stuff we have to finish and we’ll just stay until we finish it.

It seems to me some days that I'm the only one here who can count to 50 in this town. But we don't have the votes to get rid of the filibuster. And we aren't flipping 10 Democrats to vote for the SAVE America Act.
