Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that when the Senate completes its business today, it stand adjourned until 3 p.m., Monday, January 13; that following the prayer and pledge, the Journal of proceedings be approved to date, the morning hour be deemed expired, the time for two leaders be reserved for their use later in the day, and morning business be closed; further, upon conclusion of morning business, the Senate resume consideration of the motion to proceed to Calendar No. 1, S. 5 postcloture; finally, that all postcloture time expire at 5:30 p.m. and the Senate vote on the motion to proceed to Calendar No. 1, S. 5.
