Because clearly in this country, and we have seen the statistics of late that the tax burden in America is higher as a total than it ever has been since 1945, and secondly, each individual family pays higher taxes today than they ever have. To suggest for a moment that Washington has gotten spending habits under control would be a misnomer. We have some huge problems looming out there in the future. I think the approach that the gentleman from Wisconsin (Mr. Neumann) and his legislation has taken on that is an important step forward in addressing not only the $5.5 trillion debt that we have already piled up out there and what is going to happen when the Social Security bills start coming due.
