I am pleased the Senate unanimously agreed to this important legislation and I am proud to have worked with both students and lenders and my colleagues on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, especially Chairman Kennedy and Ranking Member Gregg, as well as Majority Leader Daschle, in passing this monumental legislation.
