Madam President, I rise to discuss today's unanimous, bipartisan approval of the Senate Iran Sanctions, Accountability and Human Rights Act. With this action, we are adding additional tough, targeted sanctions against the Iranian Government, making it clear to the Iranian Government that they must stop their illicit pursuit of nuclear weapons or face increased pressure on their economy. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that a longer statement of mine on the bill plus a summary be included in the Record following my remarks. The PRESIDING OFFICER. Without objection, it is so ordered. (See exhibit 1.)
