Mr. Speaker, for 46 years, the 120,000 Alaskan Natives in our country have had a champion working for them, fighting for them, advocating for them. I would observe that a number of my colleagues have talked about railroads today, in really dark, I think, starkly dark terms, in essence, saying that their existence is a symbol of historic oppression to people of color.
