The District Court has no ability to in any way restrain the President's authorities under the Alien Enemies Act, or is the ability to conduct the foreign affairs of the United States. This judge violated the law. He violated the Constitution. He defied the system of government that we have in this country.
Miller argued that the District Court overstepped its authority regarding the President's powers under the Alien Enemies Act.
