On the recordApril 27, 2010
Madam Speaker, I hope that the House will unanimously approve House Resolution 1033, as amended, and I yield back the balance of my time. The SPEAKER pro tempore. The question is on the motion offered by the gentleman from Pennsylvania (Mr. Doyle) that the House suspend the rules and agree to the resolution, H. Res. 1033, as amended. The question was taken; and (two-thirds being in the affirmative) the rules were suspended and the resolution, as amended, was agreed to. The title of the resolution was amended so as to read: ``Expressing support for designation of April 2010 as `National Autism Awareness Month' and supporting efforts to devote resources to research into the causes and treatment of autism and to improve training and support for individuals with autism and those who care for individuals with autism.''. A motion to reconsider was laid on the table. ____________________
