Mr. President, let me express my great appreciation to Senator Durbin of Illinois for his many years of leadership on this issue. I am very proud to be a cosponsor of his legislation, and I look forward to passing this bill. I am reminded of the story in the Bible of Joshua at Jericho. It was not the first time around Jericho that the horns of Joshua and his Israelite Army brought down the walls. If I recall the Bible correctly, it was seven times around those walls before they came tumbling down, but tumble down is what they did. I look forward to joining the Joshua of this crusade, Senator Durbin, to go around those walls as long as it takes in order to get the DREAM Act passed.
