The Senator's point about China makes me think that if you look at the behavior of the Chinese with respect to this power, you see a couple things. You see, first of all, that they have worked very hard to try to undercut our domestic innovation by dropping prices on solar artificially. You see that particularly if you are involved on the Intelligence and Armed Services side, the extraordinary efforts they have made to hack into our intellectual property and to try to steal it back to China so their companies can compete unfairly against ours. When you see this activity, particularly in the area of solar and renewables, and you see the extent to which the Chinese are investing in solar and renewables, what conclusion must one draw about what the Chinese see as the future of solar and renewables?

(F)ew presidents have done more than President Trump to damage Social Security — yet in an Orwellian twist, you are misusing official resources to heap praise on him.
