“It is unfortunate, when there are real stakes for real families on the table and real time slipping by, that we don't get this done. We get jacked up enough around here, but as hard as the chairman has worked to bring this to the floor and to be ready, here we are, stopped again, dealing with irrelevant issues again, and all for the entertainment and distraction of people. It is not about jobs, it is not about the economy, it is not about our infrastructure, it is not about laying the foundation for future prosperity, and so it is frustrating that we have to go through this exercise.”
