I have been asking the FBI and the Department of Justice from the beginning to treat this as a kind of investigation where you do the work of looking to see who is behind it. You follow the money, you look at the groups, the follow funders, you figure out who their kingpins and the instigators are.
Whitehouse emphasized the need for a thorough investigation into the funding and organization behind the Capitol siege.
