As we go through trying to reform our tax code to get rid of some of the crummy ways that it has been used to help special interests at the expense of regular taxpayers, if we can help reinforce the advantages for durable conservation easements, I am all in on that and would love to work on that in bipartisan fashion.

We introduced the Disaster Relief Fairness Act in July, which would require the federal government to approve disaster aid when a state meets FEMA’s criteria for assistance.
We need more clarity on that, and when we have more clarity on that they’ll be back-and-forth to try to resolve those issues.
This is a hugely important milestone but there are two big pieces of work in front of us.
If we can pass this bill, we will flood the grid with clean, affordable energy and make data centers start paying their fair share.
