I hope the bill introduced by Senator Whitehouse will be part of the conversation going forward on comprehensive energy reform.

One of the hallmarks of Sen. Whitehouse's bill is that it would provide new Federal resources for green housing.

We commend Senator Whitehouse as the primary sponsor of the Energy Efficiency in Housing Act.

Our challenge as legislators is to devise programs to inform consumers and jumpstart the green housing economy.
