Jim Langevin: “We are not sacrificing future R&D right now because of a tight budget?”

I just joined the hearing. I was in the House Armed Services Committee mark-up, so just joined, and I will hold on questions for now.

We strongly support the Air Carrier Access Amendments Act (ACAAA), H.R. 1696, which was introduced by Rep. Jim Langevin (D-RI).

Overall, we must work to break down all barriers in our society so that people with disabilities can live more full and independent lives.

That kind of coordination is very important. It really needs to be seamless.
