I thank the ranking member. I want to commend the gentleman for sponsoring this amendment and for his work on the broader bill. This is the right thing to do, to defeat the broader bill here and bring a bill to the floor that really reflects our values. For me, accessible air travel is a must, because without it, I would not be able to do my job effectively.
Overall, we must work to break down all barriers in our society so that people with disabilities can live more full and independent lives.
Mobility and handling: That complex process, explained earlier by Congressman Langevin, is also a focus area of improvement.
