At this point in time I would just ask that my colleagues join me in this commonsense amendment that allows the local communities and local school districts the flexibility to consider multiple measures in determining whether or not a school or student is succeeding or failing in our Nation's school system. With that, Mr. Chairman, I would ask my colleagues to support this amendment, and I yield back the balance of my time.
