Madam President, again I compliment my colleagues Senator Durbin, Senator Warren, and Senator Gillibrand on their commitment to reinvigorating our higher education policy and doing it in an efficient and cost-effective way so the future generation of students are not so burdened that they cannot essentially rise up, buy a home, start a family, and do the things that my generation took for granted because there was strong support for higher education at every level of government. ____________________
