I remain confident that Rhode Island is well-positioned to lead in the nation on innovative ways to involve our citizens in our democracy like this.

The headlines come out of Washington D.C. But the reality is, the people in this room are the backbone of our democracy.

Get out there and vote. This is a precious and sacred right and nothing will impede that ability to cast a vote.

Now, intimidation and bullying is all that’s left in their playbook.
