The Goldman Act empowered the State Department to seek the return of American children, yet, the department, in my opinion, has not used the full of range of tools as Congress has intended.

Since the Goldman Act was enacted there has been a decline in the number of American children abducted overseas and that is a good news story.

You can’t have a statewide school funding system that is fair to everyone — that’s equitable, that covers all costs of education, so that every student, no matter where they live, is treated the same, and every taxpayer treated the same —…
