Madam Speaker, I thank Mr. Green, and I know Glen is looking down very proud of your words tonight and the difference it is going to make to those who are watching. Madam Speaker, I yield to the gentlewoman from North Carolina (Ms. Manning), a very thoughtful member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, as well as someone who serves on the Education and Labor Committee, a member of the Equality Caucus, and a longtime champion of equality, justice, women's reproductive healthcare, and so many issues important to the LGBTQ+ community, and my friend.
