Madam Speaker, I thank my friend for her eloquent words and for being part of our Pride celebration here tonight. Madam Speaker, I yield to the gentlewoman from Illinois (Ms. Newman), my new colleague who has been such an extraordinary, relentless advocate for our community. I know she does it on behalf of her child but also for children all across America.
