I have an amendment at the desk. The CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 4, after line 20, insert the following new subsection: ``(c) Jobs Impact.--The analysis prepared under subsection (a) shall also, using analytical principles and procedures consistent with section 402, provide an estimate of the number of jobs which would be created, sustained, or lost in carrying out the applicable major bill or resolution in the fiscal year in which it is to become effective and in each of the 4 fiscal years following such fiscal year, together with the basis for each such estimate, and to the extent practicable, the analysis shall include regional and State- level estimates of jobs that would be created, sustained, or lost. Page 4, line 21, strike ``(c)'' and insert ``(d)''. The CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 539, the gentleman from Rhode Island (Mr. Cicilline) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes.
