Thank you. We have in the City of Providence a program that was started by the Institute for the Study and Practice of Nonviolence that supported a group of young people called street workers that are actually former gang Members, people who had previously been involved in violent crime who are out there proactively working with the communities, helping to prevent violence, working hand-in-hand with the police department.
