Just a few weeks ago we heard from Ukrainian Prosecutor General Kostin about the horrors being carried out in his country by Russian forces.
We are glad Representative Cicilline introduced H.R. 698, the Assault Weapons Ban Act, which would ban the future manufacture and sale of assault weapons and large-capacity magazines.
The reason is pretty clear: Short-barrel rifles can have the conceal-ability and maneuverability of a pistol but with the fire power and accuracy of a rifle.
I think it is a terrible bill. It saddens me to say that because I have deep respect for the chairman.
