It would put migrants in an uncertain dangerous situation as Mr. Cicilline said and would transfer our responsibilities to countries that have minimal resources.
Because it ignores the fundamental reality that our country has been made stronger, more vibrant, more dynamic, more powerful because of the arrival of immigrants, and refugees, and asylum seekers.
