I really want this project to go. I think it’s a critical issue that we pull the trigger, so to speak, when the opportunity is there.

The framework enacted through the FY 2027 budget represents a more practical and sustainable path forward and does not place any burden on residential and commercial properties.

As a governor, a father, and grandfather, my heart is heavy thinking of the tragedies these survivors and their families have endured. This legislation will help deliver justice that so many are owed.

And while this budget represents meaningful progress, I want to be clear: my fight for affordability is far from over.
