I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 56, after line 3, insert the following new section: SEC. 612. TRANSPORTATION OF PASSENGERS BETWEEN PORTS IN PUERTO RICO. Notwithstanding chapter 551 of title 46, United States Code, a vessel of 100 gross tons or more not qualified to engage in the coastwise trade may transport passengers between ports in Puerto Rico. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 455, the gentleman from Puerto Rico (Mr. Pierluisi) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Puerto Rico.
