I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle B of title II, add the following: SEC. 227. PROHIBITION ON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS FOR CERTAIN PROJECTS. None of the funds authorized to be appropriated by this Act or otherwise made available for fiscal year 2024 for the Department of Defense for research, development, test, and evaluation may be obligated or expended for projects involding electric vehicles, electric vehicle charging, or photovoltaic technology. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 583, the gentleman from Pennsylvania (Mr. Perry) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes.
