My friend from the other side would like you to believe that mining companies want to kill all their employees. I assure you they do not. I also assure you that we won't go to a position where there will be no regulations. We will have appropriate regulations with the appropriate costs assigned to them. That is why this amendment is necessary. That is why it is needed. I urge Members to vote in favor of this amendment, and I yield back the balance of my time. The Acting CHAIR.
