In 2010, this body was told by Speaker Pelosi that it needed to pass the bill so the American people could know what's in it. Well, Madam Speaker, if the American people would have known of the toxic consequences that ObamaCare would have, I'm certain they would not have allowed this legislation to be passed. For those interested in getting a new plan, you're going to see an average increase of 100 percent in cost compared to today. Due to the employer mandate, as many as 20 million to 65 million Americans will likely lose their employer-sponsored health care. Well, Madam Speaker, it's 3 years later, and we still don't know everything in this legislation, but we do know who's picking up the tab: hardworking families and job-creating small business owners.
