That is important because another provision of the Canadian system is that the price may not increase more than the consumer price index. They fix prices even after they have set them in place. The prices of drugs are going up. The research involved in discovering new drugs and the complications of doing so is driving up drug prices. That is a problem. I think we do need to do something. But the issue is not price control. It is access to insurance. That is the key. What we need to do is to provide, for the private-sector American, the Medicare-eligible American, an opportunity to get insurance to reduce the cost of drugs to them. That is vitally important.
