I find it quite ironic that I am, at the closing here, passing this bill about which I have strong reservations because I was not able to place an amendment in and have an amendment debated on this bill. But this is the child nutrition bill, and I understand a lot of very important things need to be done. I very much would have liked to have had the opportunity to debate something that all the nutrition groups, all of the public interest groups, as well as a lot of manufacturers who use peanuts, would love to have seen, and that is an opportunity for us not to have the Child Nutrition Program paying an exorbitant amount of money, more than they need to, robbing children of the ability to get food in other places because we pay such high prices for peanuts in this country for food programs. It would be nice if we would have been able to debate that amendment, but we can't.
