Political Quotes

I come here with a wonderful spirit. I have written on the top of the page the same words that I wrote the night of the election, and that is the word 'gratitude' because that is all I feel--an incredible sense of gratitude. It was such a gift, such an incredible gift to be blessed to serve the people of the 18th District in the Congress, southwestern Pennsylvania, in Allegheny County, and for 12 incredible years to be able to serve the people of Pennsylvania here. So first and foremost, I want to thank who is most responsible--and that is God--for this great gift he has bestowed upon me and my family--to be able the serve the greatest country in the history of the world and to serve in a body that is, and hopefully will be, the greatest deliberative body in the world.
