I did not vote for either of the packages yesterday because I didn't think they offered anything of real value to the farmers that I represent and to the region of the country that I try to represent on the Agriculture Committee. But this package does. Three things the Senator from Kansas just mentioned: No. 1, the money for specialty crops--most of the crops that are grown in Pennsylvania are specialty crops; they are not program crops--$300 million; $400 million for help with crop insurance premiums.
