I have not asked for someone's opinion on what ought to be or what could be. What I have asked for is an example. I wanted a fact circumstance to be provided as to where this would be the best, this would be appropriate, this would be medically indicated. Not in any of the letters I have seen entered into the Record, or in any testimony, has anybody come forward with a factual circumstance that would support the general statements that it 'may be.' Well, it may be a lot of things, but the point is, there are no examples that support the 'may be.' All I have asked for--and I have not received a response--is an example for us to look at, to have peer-reviewed, and to determine whether there is in fact a situation that has heretofore not been put in the Record, which is an example of a medical condition that would indicate a partial-birth abortion would be indicated to deal with as the best alternative.

You know, rhetorically I think Joe Biden has hit the notes very, very well. Substantively, as you can imagine, I'm not particularly excited about many of the things he is talking about doing. But I think his tone has been very, very good.
