this amendment does what the Byrd amendment does, except it doesn't raises taxes. It offsets the money from the 920 account. I would encourage Members to let their voices be heard in support of Amtrak funding to make sure that the Appropriations Committee understands that this is a continuing priority for the United States, and I ask for a ``yea'' vote.
