I want to make it clear here, a vote for this resolution is a vote for a strong domestic steel industry. The American Iron and Steel Institute supports this resolution. A vote against this resolution is a vote against the vital interests of every American steelworker whose job is at risk for illegal imports. Let us not make a distinction without a difference, as the other side has. Let us support jobs. Let us vote for this resolution as the one way of registering our will in favor of domestic steel.
