The Stopping Medication Abuse and Protecting Seniors Act of 2015 is one such proposal that has been introduced in by Senators Toomey (R-PA), Brown (D-OH), Portman (R-OH), Kaine (D-VA), and Casey (D-PA).
Toomey discusses a bipartisan bill addressing prescription drug abuse.

It is absolutely essential to investigate any fraud and violations of existing law, and prosecute those who are committing those crimes.
But that does not mean that Congress should be throwing even more billions of Federal taxpayer dollars at them to build out more services for riders they do not have.
I think Congress really has to take the time to properly evaluate the outbound CFIUS concept rather than rushing to enact legislation that is not properly vetted.
