Paychecks are not keeping up with rising prices. After adjusting for inflation, wages have declined 5 percent since President Biden took office.
It's a budgetary gimmick that has the intent of making it possible to have a huge explosion in unrelated spending. This is not what this bill was about. We can fix it. We can do it immediately.
President Biden would make this shortfall worse by suspending the Federal gas tax for 3 months.
