I will take this brief opportunity to thank my colleagues Mr. Marino and Mr. Wenstrup for being here and Mr. Lamborn for being here and for your indulgence and for the American people's. We have often said--and we have shared these moments together many times--that we have not just a responsibility but an obligation not just to ourselves and to our current generation but to all of those who came before us for all of the sacrifices that they made--for the 1.6 million men and women in uniform who gave their lives that we could have this moment today and those into the future. We have a responsibility to guarantee to them that we made a conscious decision to make sure that their future would be as secure as the one that we were given. In having said all of that, Mr. Speaker, I yield back the balance of my time. ____________________
