“If extramarital sexual liaisons are supposed to be purely private, why are taxpayer funds being used to defend or facilitate or cover-up? Taxpayer funds must not be used by lawyers to defend in a private civil suit or to attack or undermine investigations of allegation of wrongdoings. Taxpayer jobs should not be used in any way for defending or promoting the allegations and accusations of anyone. Mr. Speaker, the people, the American people are waiting for the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, not spin.”
