The Clerk read as follows: Mr. Loebsack moves to recommit the bill H.R. 4015 to the Committee on Ways and Means with instructions to report the same back to the House forthwith with the following amendment: At the end of the bill, add the following: SEC. __. PROHIBITION ON MEDICARE CUTS OR VOUCHERS. Nothing in this Act shall reduce benefits under the Medicare program under title XVIII of the Social Security Act, eliminate guaranteed health insurance benefits available to seniors or individuals with disabilities under such program, or establish a Medicare voucher plan that provides limited payments to Medicare beneficiaries in order to purchase health care in the private sector.
