Mr. Speaker, it is nice to hear my colleague talk about all the wonderful things that Democrats have done for the oil and gas industry, but it is shocking because Democrats want to ban fracking. Don't believe me. Take their word for it. Here is Kamala Harris: ``There is no question I am in favor of banning fracking.'' Here is Bernie Sanders: ``The only safe and sane way to move forward is to ban fracking nationwide.'' He then literally introduced a bill banning fracking shortly after that comment. There is also Pete Buttigieg. He said: ``I favor a ban on new fracking and a rapid end to existing fracking.'' Finally, here is Biden's Department of the Interior Secretary Deb Haaland: ``I am wholeheartedly against fracking and drilling on public lands.'' Those are some of the most influential Democrats in the country, and their goal is simple. They want to ban fracking. Mr. Speaker, I yield 4 minutes to the gentleman from New York (Mr. Langworthy), my good friend.
