I thank the gentleman for his leadership and for being a part of the Special Order. I am now pleased to yield to a former chairman of the full Agriculture Committee and currently the Judiciary Committee chairman, who obviously has a lot of experience in this area and with agriculture. Good morning and thank you for providing the opportunity to share my support for H.R. 7053.
SNAP reforms would “restore integrity” to the program and ensure it works for the “most vulnerable among us, including children.”
While this may not be in our jurisdiction, it is certainly in the interest of the farmers and ranchers, and foresters that we represent.
