The American people want this bill to pass. They need this bill to pass. It will help, as well, restore confidence in our elections. Let's do the right thing on a bipartisan basis as we head towards this momentous election. We came here today to ensure that only U.S. citizens can register and vote in Federal elections. Mr. Speaker, I urge my colleagues to pass the SAVE Act, safeguard our elections, and fund our government. {time} 1730 Ms. DeLAURO.
