Mr. President, I ask unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to the immediate consideration of Calendar No. 579, H.R. 3553. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The clerk will report the bill by title. The legislative clerk read as follows: A bill (H.R. 3553) to exclude from consideration as income under the Native American Housing Assistance and Self- Determination Act of 1996 amounts received by a family from the Department of Veterans Affairs for service-related disabilities of a member of the family. There being no objection, the Senate proceeded to consider the bill.
