We have an extreme backlog of infrastructure investments. For instance, in two of the six counties that I represent, Lane and Douglas County, each one of which is about the size of Connecticut, we have 700 bridges, the vast majority of which were built in the 1950s and 1960s, that are in dire need of repair or replacement.
