I have an amendment at the desk. The Acting CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. __. (a) None of the funds made available by this Act may be used to retire, divest, transfer, or prepare to divest, retire, or transfer, C-23 aircraft assigned to the Army. (b) The amounts otherwise provided by this Act are revised by reducing and increasing the amount made available for ``Operation and Maintenance--Operation and Maintenance, Army'' by $34,000,000. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 312, the gentlewoman from Oregon (Ms. Bonamici) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentlewoman from Oregon.
