In addition to that, I've introduced bipartisan legislation with Congresswoman Herrera Beutler from Washington, the Marine Debris Emergency Act, to expedite that funding, which can currently take about a year from proposal to award. This bill will shorten the window to 60 days, which could be very important. So I urge my colleagues to support our coastal communities by supporting this legislation and the bill before us today.
